It's always an honor to capture FCA's Hall of Champions ceremony. My favorite photos by far are the candids I get to capture throughout the event. A smile, a laugh, a moment of worship, a bowed head in prayer. These are the photos that speak to me on a deep level.
While capturing events is outside my "typical" purview, I am always excited to challenge my skills with something different. I do a couple events for FCA throughout the year, but most of my photography consists of portraits. In any case, the Hall of Champions is something I look forward to shooting.
FCA honored 4 inductees into their Hall of Champions at this event. Two of the inductees were present, one was an international supporter who had been officially inducted at another ceremony, and one was a posthumous inductee, honored by his wife and children attending the ceremony. Each one had incredible stories that were shared. Each one was impacted greatly by the ministry of FCA, and each was also foundational in FCA becoming what it is today. It's such a pleasure to be able to witness such humble and incredible people being honored for their faith and obedience.
