I have always enjoyed capturing moments and milestones, but since having a baby of my own, these early ones mean so much more to me. It's one thing to know intellectually that these milestones only happen once. It's another thing to begin experiencing it with your own child, and it makes capturing these moments for other parents so much more special.

Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to capture these sweet moments with SJ and his parents in honor of his first birthday. He is such a sweet little boy, so full of life and full of joy! Preston and Jessica are both so incredible, it's no surprise their son is amazing too. Between showing off his shaker eggs, his clapping skills, pointing out the water nearby, or giving mom and dad plenty of kisses, SJ totally stole the show. His smile lit up my camera (and my heart!).
