Three years!
My wonderful husband and I celebrate 3 years of marriage today! For those of you who don't know, Joe and I met four years ago on ChristianMingle. We went on our first date on November 25, 2017. It wasn't long before I knew this was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. He was kind, compassionate, and got excited about the things I got excited about (no matter how small or lame lol). Most importantly, it was clear that he loved Jesus.
About 11 months later, we walked down the aisle and said "I do." These last three years of marriage have been an adventure. We have gone through trials and struggles, loss and pain. But we have also celebrated so much, experienced so much, and grown so much. I can't imagine doing life with anyone else, and feel so blessed to have a husband who (to this day) supports me in all my crazy goals and adventures, and still gets excited about the things I get excited about. I am beyond blessed!
One of the ways I wanted to celebrate was by doing an anniversary session with Joe, as we haven't had photos done since our wedding. Thanks to my amazing friend, Sarah, we were able to do just that! Setting up the camera and having someone else snap the photos proved to be quite an adventure, as did figuring out how to pose when I was in the photo. Thankfully, Sarah was able to help us and even had a few posing ideas of her own! (The jumping photo? All Sarah!) The photos turned out incredible, and I'm so excited to frame them and hang them up!
