An honorable recognition.

Recently I had the opportunity to shoot an event for FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). According to their website, "FCA’s Hall of Champions was established in 1991 to honor individuals who have demonstrated a consistent commitment to Jesus Christ through the ministry of FCA. They are considered volunteer “All Stars” who have given above and beyond the call of duty and have upheld the Four Core Values of FCA: Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence."

Because of COVID, FCA was unable to host the Hall of Champions ceremony in 2020, to recognize the 2019 inductees. So this year, they were able to recognize the last two years of inductees, and I had the honor of capturing both ceremonies! It was a blessing and an adventure. I am definitely not used to taking event photos, so preparing for these events was different than anything I've done before.

It was an honor to work with FCA and to be able to capture them recognizing those who have gone above and beyond the call of service and ministry. Each inductee had someone close to them give a speech as an introduction, and it was incredible to hear how each of them have impacted so many lives in their years with FCA. God is using and has used each and every one of them, and I was blessed to be able to be a small part of their big day.

Check out some of the highlights!
