College Graduation...

Do you remember yours? I remember mine... It was December of 2016. A bad storm was rolling through, and we weren't sure if we'd even be able to have the ceremony. We ended up being able to go through with it, and I remember walking to my graduation party following the ceremony. It was only a few blocks, but in heels in that weather, it felt like so much longer! But that couldn't dampen my excitement at what was to come! I would begin grad school in January and embark on a whole new journey. Terrifying, but exciting, all at once.

Graduation is exciting and nerve-wracking. But recently, I had the opportunity to work with Mady and Michaela and to help them celebrate their college graduations. Mady and Michaela are sisters and both graduated this spring. Mady graduated from Avila University with a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Science. Michaela graduated from University of Central Missouri with her Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development. These girls worked so hard to get to this point, and no doubt are excited about their next steps!

During the session, I was blessed to experience each of their uniqueness. Mady is spunky and unafraid to be herself, no matter who is around. Michaela is full of joy and light and always had a smile on her face. It was an honor to work with these two young women, to capture their personalities, and to help them celebrate these incredible achievements.
